- Latest news on climate change (Paul Allan, CAT – UK)
- The democratic deficit in energy regulation, and ways to overcome it (Christelle Brown, Helio International)

16.00-17.00 Sustainable energy & zero carbon visions, short presentations of :
- vision for Latvia (Alda Ozola. Latvian Green Movement)
- vision for Lithuania (Saulius Piksrys, Atgaja, Lithuania)
- vision for Bulgaria (Todor Slavov, Za Zemiata, Bulgaria)
- visions for Russia, Denmark, and the EU (Gunnar Boye Olesen, INFORSE) Zero Carbon Britain (Paul Allan CAT, UK /Tim) (each presentation with 5 min about the vision followed by 5 min. presentation of its use and plans)

Group 1. Energy efficiency in the EU - Ecodesign - Building Performance Directive / update - Energy Service Directive − Energy efficiency action plan and way ahead (Gunnar Boye Olesen, INFORSE)

Group 2.Sustainable energy education in practice - posters - working models - teaching materials - examples of education and exhibition activities (SPARE etc.) (Ion Zamfir, Earth Friends, Romania, etc.)

Group 3. Democracy in energy sector −Experience from France and other European countries −US experience with Public Utility Committees (Christelle Brown, Helio International)

9.00 Climate and energy policies in five selected countries (France, Germany, Poland, UK, Denmark. Presented by Raphael Claustre (CLER, France), Ursel Beckmann (BW Germany), Paul Allan /Tim (UK) and Gunnar Boye Olesen (OVE, Denmark)

10.30 Coffee

11.00 Global climate policies - Climate Change Country Reports - Review. Discuss the issue with respect to our future activities aimed to COP in Copenhagen 2009. Emil Bedi FAE, INFORSE

12.00 Our strategies for the climate negotiations and related policies in EU and the countries ? (plenary discussion on overall strategies, details can be discussed in the afternoon)

INFORSE-Europe work programme is presented on posters Tuesday morning and at each poster there will be room to add comments and names of interested. Empty posters will be available for new ideas. Each participant is asked to put his/her name on the topics that he/she expects to work on in 2009. We will then make as many working groups as we have proposals and schedule them to have as many people as possible participating in the topics they prioritise. The coordinators will coordinate the sessions.
